Hygger ETL Certified Aquarium Heater

Take the guesswork out of keeping your aquarium at the perfect temperature. The Hygger ETL Certified Aquarium Heater offers exceptional reliability and safety, designed to give your fish room—and your aquatic friends—peace of mind.

Why you'll love it
This heater is ETL-certified, meaning rigorous safety and quality standards have been met. It uses a 2 mm thick quartz-glass tube that resists corrosion, is built for both freshwater and saltwater tanks, and offers consistent, even heat transfer. With high-efficiency heating wires and fully submersible design, it’s built for serious performance. h

Key features

  • Precise temperature control: Rotate the adjustment knob to set between 68 °F and 93 °F; the high-precision sensor measures to 0.1 °F accuracy.
  • Safety shut-off: If the unit is out of water for more than 3 minutes—or if water temperature exceeds 93 °F—it automatically cuts power.
  • Built to last: The quartz glass body and white alumina-sand heat conduction medium is durable for years of use.
  • Flexible mounting: Includes two suction cups so you can attach the heater horizontally or vertically in just the right spot for your tank’s layout.
  • Multiple sizes: Choose models for tanks up to 15 gal, 30 gal, 65 gal, or 80 gal—so you get the right fit without over-heating.

Usage tips (from Angie’s Fish Room experience)

  • Always fully submerge the heater before turning it on; never power it up dry.
  • Position it near a water flow path (near the intake or filter outlet) so heat distributes evenly.
  • Avoid burying the heater in substrate or hiding it under décor—give it space to circulate.
  • Keep the temperature controller portion dry and out of direct splash zones.
  • Leave the heater in place while making water changes until it cools to prevent thermal shock.

Ideal for your setup
Whether you’re running a freshwater community tank or a marine display, this heater is engineered for broad compatibility. Its precise control means better stability, less stress for your fish and corals, and fewer sudden temperature swings.
